About Me

This is the Cliff Notes version of my story.

My name is Dennis Muse I was born and raised in Kansas City and I'd like to introduce you to who I am. While its transformational process has continued over the course of my life, the core foundation on which my being and identity or My Brand as it now called is based on the life death and resurrection of and the person Yeshua (Jesus), and Missio Dei (Mission of God).

I am a Christ-follower, 27th year of varied ministry [missionary, bible teacher, youth minister, small group leader, pastor, associate pastor, church planter, crisis counselor].

I Am.....

A Christian

That is I seek to be Christ-like, to be a follower of Christ and to live sent by Him on mission. Am I passionately in love with Jesus, and I seek to make Him the Lord of my life in every area. My identity and life purpose is found in Him and Him alone and His mission.

  • I am one who seeks to be purposefully engaging with God in His intentions to bring His Kingdom to earth all around me and through me.
  • I am one who is trying to replace a lifestyle of a pre-formatted, Christian routine with listening to and following Jesus’ voice and footsteps with a pre-formatted.
  • I seek daily to be Spirit-filled, Spirit-led, Spirit-directed, and Spirit-controlled.
  • I am one who is seeking to fully explore with God what it means to lay down my life in order to allow His compassionate, missional heart to beat in me and change the way I live.

A Missionary

Am I a missionary to the world, just as every true Christian is to be one. Every follower of Christ needs to see themselves as a missionary. I did spent 3 years with YWAM as one, but God has shown me that I am a missionary full time even now. Living as a one on Mission is how I chouse to live my life, therefore I am a one on Mission, Missional, living Sent, a Missionary.

A Church Planter

I have have been part of 4 church plants and I am embarking on my 5th plant. I have a passion for the local church as an expression of a gospel community on a mission. I am a planter not in the traditional church job description, but as Jesus said to be. Go into the world, preach the gospel and make disciples. Live in community and love one-another. I seek to proclaim the gospel, make disciples, that is pore my life into others, and live in community with others. My home is the church to my neighborhood, it is a place where all can gather to worship and be in community. I live as such to plant churches everywhere I go, to form new comminutes, gatherings of the body of Christ, that are Missional and multiply.
