Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it flow the springs of life. Prov 4:23

My Core Values

What is it that motivates me to do what I do, to be who I want to be......

“Intimacy with God”

I am within His heart, I dwell there, It is where I came from, where I reside and where I will return. I abide there in Him just as He abide in me. I seek to daily fuel the fire of passion for God and to walk in His presents, to draw near Him and delight in Him and to lavishing Him with my love and allow Him to lavish me with His love. To live out Matthew 22:37-38, we were saved to live in a face-to-face intimate relationship with Him here and now. I seek to know and love God with all my heart, mind and strength daily. To seek His face, His presents daily.

Ask myself daily, "Am I living in, worshiping in white hot pursuit of the Holy God?" "Am I keeping my thoughts, heart and eyes squarely focused on the Lord Jesus and the holy pursuit of Him?" "Am I seeking God at this moment, about this moment, issue? Am I listening to hear God's voice, and willing to hear and obey what He says?"

“Authenticity”

To be real, true to who I am, living in a completely integrated fashion with their own values and principles, being completely honest and participating in the here-and-now, to be true to who I am in Christ, who I am seated with Christ in heaven, to my values, ethics, principles, beliefs, and emotions. to be inner directed by who I am, who I am outside matches who I am inside.

I ask myself "Am I living out who I am in Christ?" "Am I being on the outside who I am inside? Am I inside who I am seated with Christ? Are my actions being true to who I am or want to be?"

"Incarnational Living"

The heart of incarnational living is incarnating the gospel and that is about being Jesus, to practice Jesus. To Practice Jesus is about doing what Jesus did, to imitate Him, His life and His mission.

I ask myself daily, "How can I display the gospel to those around me?" and “What would it look like to be Jesus to those around me?” "Am I becoming an expert witness to the love of Jesus Christ to every man, woman and child who lives near me? Is that my passion, soul and expertise?"

"Missio Dei"

I seek to live sent, be Missional, that is accept the radical call to recalibrate everything I do around the agenda of Jesus’ mission. God is a sending God, Christians are those who have been sent by God with the gospel to their culture. The commit to follow Jesus, is saying, “Count me in! I am here on this earth to partner together with other Christians who are radically devoted to pursuing Christ’s mission of saving the world!” Living sent is the heart of my mission, purpose here on earth, when I accepted Jesus as my Lord, is like Moses at the burning bush, I was saying "Here I am send me". My life motto is :"My life hid in Christ, His Mission", my life is hid in Christ it is not my own, I am a bond slave to Christ therefore my life is His to with as He please because I give it to Him willingly. And it is not my mission that I live for, spend my life for, it is His mission that I was saved and am sent for.

I ask myself "How can I fulfill God's mission of Restoration, Renewal, Reconciliation and Redemption to those around me?" "Am I declaring with my words that Jesus is Lord? Am I displaying in my life that Jesus is Lord!

"The Word of God"

I believe all of the scriptures to be the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative word of the living God (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:20-21). It is without error in its original text, and it all is God breather, it is all His word right down to the last period. It is the only standard by which I chose to live and measure all things. It reveals to us the person and nature of God, and that is the God I believe in, the Yeshua (Jesus) I accept. It is in the study of the word that we learn who God is and what He requires of man. The word of God will stand for all eternity (Is. 40:8). I chose to study it diligently in order to interpret it correctly (2 Tim. 2:15; 4:1-5). The bible is the very foundation of my understanding of God, Jesus, Salvation, Morels, Righteousness and what God requires of me.

I ask myself every day, have I spent sufficient time the the world? Have I read it in its proper context? Have I accepted it as truth for my life and seeking to apply it to my life? Have I mediated on it? Have I allowed it to set my beliefs and conduct? Define who God is, who Jesus is and what they require of me? define who I am and how I am to live? Have I put priories where there are comas?

“Compassion”

To act out to the world the same compassion God has and is showing me, to continue Jesus' mission of compassion to the poor, needy, orphaned, outcast and downtrodden. To live fulfilling Matthew 25:31-46 and Isaiah 1:17&58:7. I seek to display the nature and character of God, demonstrating the life and work of Christ by my actions of compassion, mercy for the poor and orphaned and to fight for social justice. I seek to be an effective agent of compassion and justice to the world. To show, give to others the same mercy and forgiveness He gives me to others, to be His agent of mercy and forgiveness.

“Intentional Community”

To be in a community of faith of real people infused with dynamic faith, shared values, committed to a common vision and mission, joined together in covenant love, the scriptures say "do not forsake the gathering of the saints". And we see in Act's that this was more than a one day a week gathering, and it involved things like eating together, sharing possessions, it was sharing life with one another. It is only in the body that we can be can true be grounded in the faith, live out the fullness of the Kingdom life.

"Love"

To love and to be loved. To let love be the motivation of all that I do. To love others with the same love that God has for them, to incarnate the love of God to them. To love the lost, the sinner, the outcast, the unlovable with the same love that God has for them. To be loved for who I am, accepted and loved unconditionally by a wife. To have a wife to love unconditionally, to be able to love with all my emotional and romantic love, to love them with physical love. To have ONEness with another, physical oneness and emotional oneness with, have real, complete, total intimacy with.

I ask myself daily: "Have I loved like Jesus today?"

"Family"

Family is central to my life, being in and part of the family of God, the church and the community life of the body. And my own family, being a husband and father are where real life happens. It is only in these two arenas of life that we can receive and give intimate and unconditional love, we are never more in the created image of God than when in a family, in marriage we function as the trinity, father, mother and children, and here we pro-create. This is where we can turly and ultimately experience and understand the Fathers heart, becoming a father.
